Most people don’t have an easy time watching their ex flaunt a new relationship on social media, but a source exclusively tells In Touch that Brody Jenner doesn’t mind seeing ex Kaitlynn Carter love it up with Miley Cyrus. In fact, he was even happy to show off to all of his followers that the two women had sent him a birthday gift as a couple. On his Instagram Story on Wednesday, August 21, he revealed the singer and reality star had sent him a weed bouquet from both of them, signing it with love. According to the insider, that’s because they’re all still on good terms.
“Kaitlynn’s relationship with Miley doesn’t bother Brody in the slightest,” the source exclusively spilled to In Touch. “It’s good publicity for him. He’s still friends with [both of them].” Accepting their (surprisingly beautiful) weed bouquet isn’t the only thing Brody, 36, has down to show his support for Miley, 26, and Kaitlynn, 30, though. While some fans thought he was throwing shade, it’s clear in hindsight that his Instagram comments about the two having a “hot girl summer” were left with love. When he joked about hooking up with Miley’s ex Liam Hemsworth, it was all in good fun. He even stood up for Kaitlynn when he noticed how much hate she was getting online.
In the meantime, though, Kaitlynn and Miley don’t seem to be sweating any of the controversy they’ve stirred up. Instead, they’re focusing on them. “Miley’s the happiest she’s been in years,” the insider told In Touch. “She’s embracing her sexuality and new found freedom, and telling pals she can finally be herself without anyone getting in the way.” And things with Kaitlynn are going well. “[They’re] dating,” the source said. “They’re both very sexual, open women who don’t take life too seriously and like to have fun – they’re crazy about each other, and friends say they make a great match.”
