Kylie Jenner Gets Roasted by Sisters for Being a Billionaire: ‘They Tease Her a Lot’
Why split the bill when your sister is a billionaire? Kylie Jenner sat with Ellen Degeneres on Monday, September 2, for the season 17 premiere for The Ellen Degeneres Show, and divulged what her famous sisters think of her thick wallet.
“When we’re in a group chat talking about where we should go for a trip, they’re like, ‘Kylie? You going to pay for it?’” the 21-year-old said to the comedienne. “Just stuff like that.”
“They just joke with me, just sister love,” Kylie adds. “They’re all really proud of me, for sure.” As mom, Kris Jenner, sat by her side, she chimed in, “they tease her a lot.” Jokingly, the famous momager said that although her sisters don’t expect the brunette beauty to pay the bill, they do, in fact, expect her to cover their mother’s expenses.
“I never thought that this could happen,” Kylie said to Interview magazine about being the youngest self-made billionaire. “I believed in Kylie Cosmetics but I didn’t even know what I was getting myself into. It feels amazing, it’s wild, and being the youngest ever to do it is a blessing. I now want to focus on giving back to people and doing things that I’m passionate about.”
Coming from a famous family, Kylie has faced her share of criticism from those claiming that she is not “self-made,” but she isn’t having any of it. “There’s really no other word to use other than self-made because that is the truth,” she said. “That is the category that I fall under. Although, I am a special case because before I started Kylie Cosmetics, I had a huge platform and lots of fans. I did not get money from my parents past the age of 15. I used 100 percent of my own money to start the company, not a dime in my bank account is inherited … and I am very proud of that.”
Make that bread, Kylie! And no, you don’t have to share!
