Katie Holmes Has Been ‘on a Few Dates’ With Actor Emilio Vitolo

Is there a new man in her life? Katie Holmes has been “on a few dates” with actor Emilio Vitolo, a source exclusively tells In Touch after they were spotted dining together in New York City on Tuesday, September 1.

“Emilio and his fiancée Rachel Emmons broke off their engagement very recently,” the insider says of his current relationship status. “Emilio is focusing on his restaurant.”  

The actress, 41, and performer-turned-chef, 33, sparked romance rumors with their latest outing at one of SoHo’s Mediterranean hotspots, Antique Garage, in photos obtained by TMZ. Holmes was captured cracking up while catching up with the Genesis Project star. 

While they two looked cozy during their intimate dinner, the source says “it’s not serious [between them] yet” and as of now, the pair is just having “fun.”

Vitolo, who works at Emilio’s Ballato with his family members in NYC, previously spoke out about his passion for cooking in an interview with InStyle. He followed in the footsteps of his father, Emilio Vitolo Sr., who purchased the place nearly two decades ago and made it his own. Like his dad, Vitolo is quite skilled in the culinary department.

In recent months, Holmes has also been keeping busy with exciting new projects. The actress promoted her movie The Secret: Dare to Dream in late July, writing in her Instagram caption, “If you know what you want, you can manifest your dreams.“

The Brahms: The Boy II alum seems to be making the best of single life after In Touch confirmed she and Jamie Foxx split in August 2019.

“She’s finally come to the conclusion that she wants to be with a guy who is ready to settle down,“ another insider told In Touch exclusively at the time. “She also can’t keep an eye on him when he’s in L.A. and is fed up with doing the whole long-distance thing so gave him an ultimatum — either move to NY or it’s over!“ 

The exes first fueled speculation they were an item in 2013, although they never confirmed the rumors. However, they did step out together in public on various occasions, including one instance in April 2019, when they were photographed walking hand-in-hand alongside two of Foxx’s daughters.

All in all, it looks like the starlet is not looking back!
