Kanye West Spends ‘Daddy-Daughter Time’ With North in Wyoming After Reports She Wanted to Live With Him
Daddy’s little girl. Kanye West spent some quality time with his eldest daughter, North, in Wyoming after an insider previously told In Touch she wants to live with her father.
“Daddy-daughter time,” the “Gold Digger” singer, 43, captioned a photo of him and the 7-year-old posing by a body of water with some picturesque mountains in the background via Twitter on Monday, August 17. In the sweet image, the proud father can be seen smiling with his arms around Northie — whom he shares with wife Kim Kardashian — while the little girl held onto her daddy and struck a pose for the camera. She was, of course, repping her dad’s brand and wore a pair of Yeezys.
Kanye and North’s special day together comes shortly after the Kardashian kid expressed she “[wanted] to be” with her father in Wyoming during her parents’ marital issues in early August, a source exclusively told In Touch. “North knows that mommy and daddy are going through things and shocked Kim by proclaiming [she wants to go live with her dad],” the insider shared at the time, adding that Nori is “the ultimate daddy’s girl.”
The KKW Beauty founder “[hated] the idea of tearing their kids apart,” another source told In Touch. The thought of splitting up their kids is what motivated the couple to “work on their marriage.”
Kim, 39, and Kanye started to experience marital woes after the rapper alleged he and the law student considered aborting their first child during his first presidential campaign rally in South Carolina in July. In addition to divulging the private information, Kanye then went on a now-deleted Twitter rant where he seemingly accused his wife of cheating on him with Meek Mill and claimed he has been trying to divorce her.
Kanye later made a public apology to the fashion icon for “going public with something that was a private matter.” The parents were then spotted having a tearful reunion in a parked car in Wyoming on July 27. Kim boarded a flight back to Los Angeles the following day.
The couple appeared to be working on their marriage after they were spotted on a family vacation to the Dominican Republic. They also attended Kanye’s Sunday Service in Wyoming on Sunday, August 16. Kim supported her husband by announcing the event’s return via Instagram and shared clips from the performance.
It looks like the Kardashian-West family was able to work through their rough patch.
