He may have recently dyed his hair pink, but apparently Kanye West‘s creativity could have been a lot worse. In addition to his cotton candy curls, he’s also thought about experimenting with some ink. Thankfully, though, Kim Kardashian shut that whole thing down. Because the rapper wasn’t just thinking about getting a new sleeve done on his arms, he legit wanted a face tattoo. Looks like borrowing her box of pink hair dye is cool with Kim, but ~expressing himself~ in other forms of body art on his head is just a step too far.

He doesn’t just want one tiny tat, though. “He wants to get two small tattoos on his face!” a source tells In Touch Magazine. According to them, the 41-year-old artist has been flirting with the decision for a while. “Kanye’s come up with some crazy ideas, but this might be his stupidest one yet.” Seriously, this guy has been hanging out with wayyyy too many lame SoundCloud rappers lately.

Luckily, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star thinks the whole idea is a mess, too. Even though the ink would have had special meaning (“He wanted to get the initials of his late mother, Donda, and his three kids on his forehead,” notes the source), 38-year-old Kim said absolutely not. She put her foot down — but there might be one thing that could change her mind going forward. After all, there was a certain somebody’s initials missing from that list.

“Everyone started talking that if Kanye would have said he was tattooing Kim’s name on his face,” says the source, “she might have let him!” Hey, if that’s not love, we don’t know what is. And it’s hardly news to anyone that Keeks loves a grand gesture when it comes to romance. This is the couple that got engaged at a baseball stadium not during the game, but after the rapper rented out the whole place so that they could have it all to themselves. But no one remind Kanye about that, ok? It’s just not a great look — and no one wants to follow in 6ix9ine’s footsteps.
