Do not expect Joy-Anna Duggar to follow in Jinger Duggar‘s footsteps!

The newlywed recently revealed whether or not she will start wearing pants like her sister now that she is married. Jinger made headlines back in March for breaking such a strict family rule, though when they get married they are allowed to wear pants as opposed to dresses and skirts if their husband approves.

Jinger’s husband, Jeremy Vuolo, previously revealed that he does not mind if his wife wears pants, however, Joy-Anna’s new husband, Austin Forsyth, has more of the same mindset as his in-laws, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and prefers his new wife in dresses.

“I said before that I don’t like dresses, but Austin likes them on me, and so I’m branching out and I’m wearing some dresses now,” she revealed during Jill & Jessa: Counting On. “I don’t really have fashion. I just kind of wear whatever Austin likes. Before, I just wore whatever was in the closet. I’m trying to improve that.”

Joy-Anna and Austin tied the knot last month took a honeymoon in Switzerland. The night of their wedding, Joy-Anna’s brother Joseph Duggar proposed to his girlfriend, Kendra Cardwell, after a period of courting.
