Jonathan Cheban Admits He’s a Fan of Tristan Thompson Post-Scandal: ‘I Like the Guy, I Like His Vibe’

He’s a fan! After Khloé Kardashian’s baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, was spotted at a restaurant in New York City with Kim Kardashian, La La Anthony, Winnie Harlow and Jonathan Cheban, the foodie guru is now spilling the details on their night out.

“We were having dinner,” the 45-year-old confirmed on his podcast, “Foodgod: OMFG” about the September 11 outing. “I don’t know exactly what happened, but Tristan did come in the middle of the dinner. And you know what, I’m probably gonna get a lot of crap for it, but I like the guy. I like his vibe. I could hang out with him and go to the mall with him.”

Unfortunately, Jonathan didn’t want to be in the middle of all the drama. “I don’t want to talk about the past actions or that girl,” he said, referring to the 35-year-old Revenge Body host. “I don’t want anything to do with that. It’s none of my f—king business. All I know is, that yes, we were there. I know there was a picture of us eating on TMZ, so it’s no secret that he did come in the middle of it … Kim was there.”

The 28-year-old athlete hooked up with Kylie Jenner’s BFF Jordyn Woods at his house after they went out on the town in Santa Monica. “They were cuddling, holding hands. Tristan was rubbing her ass, they were definitely hooking up,” a source told In Touch at the time.

The reality star admitted that the Canada native isn’t such a bad guy — even after what he did to the Good American designer and her family. “I don’t know what went on in the middle,” he said. “I’m cutting that part out of my head. I know what happened, but I’m just saying I don’t want to talk about it. If that didn’t happen, I think that him and Khloé are a dope couple. The baby is cute. What I am saying, as a person, not what he did, I like his vibe. I like hanging out with him. He’s just so funny. He knows everything. I know he, obviously, loves the daughter.”

However, it seems like Khlo is in a great place these days. “I’m not someone that holds a grudge. If I do that, it’s only gonna affect me, and I’m genuinely, I don’t even — that chapter is closed for me,” she explained to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show on September 6. “I want all of us to move on and to be happy, successful people. I just want everyone to just be better people with each day, and that’s genuinely how I feel.”

It looks like Kim’s relationship with the NBA player is on the mend, too. “Tristan is a really great dad,” she wrote during the season 17 premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

So, will the Kardashians let Tristan back in their lives? Only time will tell!
