Jinger’s first source of income was likely from her roles on several TLC reality shows alongside her famous family.

She made her reality TV debut on 17 Kids and Counting in 2008, which was later renamed to 18 Kids and Counting and finally 19 Kids and CountingAfter the show was canceled in 2015 amid Josh Duggar’s molestation scandal, several of the Duggars went on to star on Counting On from 2015 until 2020.

After Josh was arrested on child pornography charges in April 2021, the network announced they would no longer be making new episodes of the family’s show. “TLC will not be producing additional seasons of Counting On. TLC feels it is important to give the Duggar family the opportunity to address their situation privately,” they told Us Weekly in a statement in June.

In December 2021, the eldest Duggar child was found guilty by an Arkansas jury of one count of receiving child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography following a nine-day trial. The possessing child pornography charge was later dropped at his sentencing hearing. 

The disgraced reality star was sentenced to serve approximately 12.5 years in prison on May 25. However, his release date was later changed to August 12, 2032, which is slightly more than 10 years, In Touch confirmed in July.

What Is Jinger Duggar’s Job?

Among her many job titles, Jinger is an author, podcaster and entrepreneur. 

She co-authored a book with her sisters Jana Duggar, Jill Duggar and Jessa Duggar titled Growing Up Duggar: It’s All About Relationshipswhich was released in 2014. Jinger later published her second book, The Hope We Hold: Finding Peace with the Promises of God, alongside her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, in May 2021. The former reality star then published her first children’s book, You Can Shine So Bright!, with Jeremy and illustrator Naomi C. Robinson in August 2022.

Jinger isn’t putting her writer’s pen down, however. On January 31, 2023, she released her latest book entitled Becoming Free Indeed. The former TLC star recounts “how she began to question the harmful ideology of her youth and learned to embrace true freedom in Christ,” the book’s description explains. Before the book was released, her parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were “bracing themselves” for impact, a source exclusively told In Touch in November 2022.

“Jim Bob and Michelle aren’t thrilled by Jinger’s book coming out, but they are hoping for the best,” the insider revealed. “They’re not sure of all the topics she’ll cover, but they have prayed about it and hope that it’s honest, respectful and doesn’t dredge up too much of their family troubles.”

In addition to her prolific career as a writer, on November 1, the mother of two took to Instagram to announce her partnership with Matchbox Coffee to launch her own coffee blend. 

I’ve wanted to do this for years and finally did,” she wrote alongside a video via Instagram that captured her crafting the coffee blend.

The collaboration likely won’t surprise fans, as Jinger regularly posts about Matchbox Coffee on Instagram.
