Throwback alert! Jessa Duggar recently shared some of her favorite throwback photos on Instagram and they’re way too cute. And no, we’re not talking about all those adorable baby pictures we’re obsessed with that she loves to share of her and little sister Jinger Duggar. But Jinger is still involved — and so is her husband Jeremy Vuolo and Jessa’s little ones. Back in the day before JingJer had a kid of their own, they used to get their fill of toddler time with Jessa’s sons. You know, just so they could get some practice in first instead of going from people who’d just barely started going on dates to parents of a living child in the span of five minutes.

Not to say that Jinger doesn’t have plenty of experience with little kids. After all, the Duggars‘ buddy system basically guaranteed that she and her older sisters raised the rest of their siblings. But we have to imagine it’s a little different when you’re on your own and can’t call in the big guns for backup, aka Jana Duggar (oh, did you think we meant Jim Bob or Michelle?). Luckily, Jessa was more than happy to outsource her childcare, give her oldest sister a break, and let Jinger and Jeremy play house a little with Spurgeon Seewald when he was still just a tiny bean.

How cute are these pics? We’re obsessed, especially with the one where Jeremy is trying to juggle both Spurgeon and baby Henry. “Seems like this moment from 2 years ago was just yesterday— and now y’all have your own baby! Time flies,” Jessa wrote on Instagram. “P.S. Our kids say to tell you they were happy [to] be of service in giving you a foretaste of the parenting experience.” Though they have baby Felicity now, we doubt that Jinger and her husband will be following in Jessa’s footsteps and having a second baby anytime soon. With the amount of time that they waited to have their first kid, it’ll probably be another minute or so before they’re ready for a second — especially if the picture Jessa shared of Jeremy is anything to go by.
