He’s really embracing daddy duty! Jeremy Vuolo posted the sweetest photo with his baby girl Felicity on Tuesday, August 7, and fans can’t stop gushing over how cute the daddy-daughter duo looks. “Look who joined me for OT Studies w/ Dr. Essex…” the father of one captioned the precious shot. However, fans have also noticed something else that they’re not exactly finding endearing. Though watching a video lecture with Felicity in his arms means new dad gets to spend a little extra time with his daughter, Jeremy’s holding his baby facing toward the computer — and her eyes are clearly glued to the screen. 

It may be a cute pic, but fans were concerned that being so near to the computer screen may not be great for Felicity’s eyes. “Jer the light of the computer is not healthy for the eyes of your baby!!” commented one fan, with another adding, “Her eyes are still too delicate for screens like that.” A third chimed in, “Be careful.. I believe ‘screen time’ before age two can have adverse effects.” Yikes! Hopefully baby Felicity isn’t spending too much time in front of the computer (especially not right in front of the computer like she is here), but we appreciate the thought from the first time dad. Everybody makes mistakes, right? We’re just glad he’s a hands-on dad!

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Jeremy take control as a proud parent, though. On July 31, the Counting On star revealed on Twitter that he stayed up in the middle of the night to care for his baby girl. The conversation began with this fan’s tweet, reading: “To simply sit and think—no phone, no book, no computer—that is a practice we must be careful not to forget.” Jeremy responded, “I concur.” When the user replied, “I bet you have ample opportunity for thinking now that you have retired from sleeping at night,” Jeremy said the sweetest thing ever while getting real about life at home with his daughter. “That thought went through my mind last night as I attempted to console a beautiful, yet momentarily sorrowful, little human.” 

Usually the child rearing falls on the Duggar girls, so it’s nice to see that Jeremy is always happy to lend a helping hand to his wife Jinger Duggar. The reality star has been keeping fans updated on Felicity, and many were cracking up at his last parenthood admission. “To sleep, my dear friend and faithful companion. So long, it was a good run. Fondly, Jeremy,” his post read on July 23. Jeremy also shared a meme reading: “Dear coffee, it’s just you and me now. Don’t let me down.”

Jeremy and Jinger’s bundle of joy was born on July 19, and they recently shared adorable photos of her swaddled in a bright blue blanket. The couple has been over the moon after the birth of their healthy daughter and they revealed the sentimental meaning behind her middle name. “We named our baby Felicity Nicole,” Jinger said in a video on July 30. “We went with Nicole because that’s Jinger’s middle name and a way to honor her.” So cute!
