She’s growing up so fast! It seems like we just met Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo‘s daughter, Felicity, but the little girl, born on July 19, 2018, is already more than 7 months old. Recently, she’s been trying all kinds of new things like FaceTiming her cousin, posing with (decaf) coffee cups, and absolutely killing it at games of peek-a-boo. Now, she’s ready to add a new milestone to her list — table food. In the new mom’s Instagram Story, shared Wednesday, February 27, she showed off her daughter and husband sitting at the kitchen table and trying out a bowl of some kind of yellow-orange mush. Delicious!

“Felicity’s first time to try table food!” Jinger, 25, captioned the video. In the clip, Jeremy bounces the little girl up, announcing, “She’s excited!” In the next breath, he asks Felicity, “Are you ready to eat?” As he picks up the spoon, he continues, “Here we go!” Behind the camera, the young mom explains, “This is sweet potato, Felicity! This is sweet potato.”

As the 7-month-old starts to get curious and eventually chew on the spoon, Jinger encourages, “Eat it! Put it in your mouth. Just a little bit.” Both parents can’t stop themselves from giggling as their daughter looks curious, enthralled, and then confused all at once. Most babies start eating solids around 4 to 6 months old, so we’re not sure if the sweet potatoes are Felicity’s first venture into the wide culinary world, but it’s clearly something new — and we’re pretty sure she likes it.

Think she got the recipe from her cousin Gideon, Joy-Anna Duggar‘s son? The two tiny Counting On stars had a play date right before Valentine’s Day when Joy and her husband, Austin Forsyth, traveled to Laredo, Texas for a visit. And judging by their recent FaceTime call, they’re clearly keeping in touch! Could the 12-month-old have shared any words of wisdom for his little cuz? Maybe, “Aim to get the mushy foods in your mouth, not around it.” We think that would be pretty sage advice for someone new to solids, and we’re sure both kids will be mastering the skill soon.
