He still wears a bib and he’s how old?! Jill Duggar is taking heat after posting another pic of her 4-year-old son Israel wearing a bucket bib.

On Wednesday, July 31, Jill, 28, posted a photo of Israel looking less than pleased in his bib. The text read, “clean bowls and full bellies” — and clean shirts. This isn’t the first time fans have noticed the not-so-little boy is wearing an infant staple. On July 8, Jill posted a photo to celebrate her youngest son Samuel’s second birthday, but people were quick to notice his big brother by his side and wearing, you guessed it, a bib. “Isn’t the older boy a bit old for a bucket big?!?” read one comment, while another stated, “Iz is way too old to be using a bib. Teach him to eat neatly and you won’t have this issue.”

Some even took the matter to Reddit where a lively debate on bib vs. no bib arose. “We’ve seen this multiple times now. I know it was talked about on here during the photos from Sam’s birthday and people were saying that Israel was probably just playing around but now I’m not so sure,” wrote one concerned user. Surprisingly, many people chimed in saying they have older relatives who used a bib or apron on the reg. “He does seem a little old for a bib, but I’ve seriously thought about getting one for my 80-year-old husband,” someone commented. Another added, “We have an apron my husband puts on for messy foods. If I catch him in time. He loves to ruin a shirt.”

Jill is constantly under public scrutiny, especially when it comes to matters in the kitchen. She often posts pictures of her meals that look more like concoctions. Although fans are quick to sound off on her calorie-filled dishes, she says her boys like her cooking — so maybe Israel just ~likes~ wearing a bib? The verdict is still out on that one.
