Another food faux pas? Jill Duggar’s chunky potato and kale soup recipe isn’t for the faint of heart. The former Counting On star’s dish is said to be “creamy and flavorful” with a bit of spice, however it certainly appears to be an acquired taste. But hey, as long as she likes it, right?

Jill, 28, posted the ingredients required via Instagram on July 23, linking back to the Dillard family blog. It called for a pound of ground turkey, Italian seasoning, red pepper, black pepper, sage, garlic and a half stick of butter. The recipe also needs six cups of whole milk, one quart of chicken broth, as well as potatoes, onions, kale and salt. Jill did note that she got inspiration from AllRecipes.com, and we have to at least give her credit for venturing into the produce section.

Just last week, the TLC alum posted two of her old recipes — after taking a two-month hiatus from sharing her concoctions — and fans couldn’t help but sound off. Once they tried Jill’s stuffed zucchini and homemade bone broth, several vented their frustrations about the flavor and scent.

“It’s disgusting,” one commented. “I tried it, and it’s gross!” another added, while a third declared “the aroma makes [them] wanna throw up” in the mornings. Tell us how you ~really~ feel!

Jill has been put on blast during several occasions for promoting sodium-filled recipes made with canned food, but it looks like she’s still trying to step up her game with some healthier alternatives. In her latest post, the reality star also addressed how her sons shared with hubby, Derick Dillard, 30, have tasted the “easy” kale and potato recipe before. “Both of my boys eat this soup like the recipe says, but they did comment about it being a little spicy,” she noted. Better luck next time!
