Check out his fresh ‘do! Jessa Duggar recently shared a three-part video showing her giving Henry Seewald his very first haircut, and she even utilized hubby Ben Seewald‘s help, as well as big brother Spurgeon. The Counting On star was methodically trimming Henry’s blonde locks and the end result was too cute. Of course, critics came out of the woodwork to shade Jessa, claiming she was doing it wrong. “Sometimes it’s good to pay a professional. With proper training,” one wrote. “Always cut on the top of your fingers, not below. You risk cutting yourself and your client (or child) if you go below. Your fingers should always be between the scissors and the scalp,” another chimed in. Luckily, she handled that nay-sayers like a pro while responding.

“I always cut on top of my finger, unless they’re not wearing a cape. With longer cuts on babies and toddler’s hair, I cut under my fingers instead so that I’m holding onto all the cut hair and can drop it straight into the trash. Way less mess! And yes, I’m super careful,” Jessa replied, alongside a smiley face and heart emoji. Other fans were defending the 25-year-old reality star to the fullest, with one joking: “The hair police will come and fine you for cutting without a license and not on top, no matter what a great job you did!”

Jessa is the proud mother of Spurgeon, 2, and Henry, 19 months, and unfortunately she’s faced her fair share of haters. Earlier this year, mommy-shamers called her out for how long she kept Spurgeon in diapers and for joking about giving her youngest son, Henry, soda. During both instances, she set the record straight and fans were totally living for it!
