Nothing like some quality time with the bro! Jessa Duggar‘s sons Spurgeon and Henry were making the most out of a rainy day, in a video posted to her Instagram on Aug. 14. The Counting On star was watching her boys try to splash each other while playing in a puddle. Of course, there were a few fans calling her out for allowing them to hang outside in the mud!

Jessa revealed they were relaxing at Grandma and Grandpa‘s house soaking up the “simple joys of childhood” for the time being. And they were having a blast, as she shared another clip of Spurgeon playing in his mini pool captioned “best days of our lives.” Some fans loved to watch the moment, but others were concerned about Henry and Spurgeon being out in the cold. “The haters are gonna come out and school you for having them playing in the mud!” one wrote, while another commented: “They will most likely get ringworm.”

Obviously, some of Jessa’s followers were on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. One wrote, “Now that is what being a kid is about. You got it right Jessa!” A different fan agreed, adding: “I remember doing this as a child and it was fun then and it looks like fun still. These boys’ resistance to sickness will be strong.” The reality star is no stranger to criticism, and yet, she doesn’t allow the nay-sayers to prevent her from sharing the content she wants.

Jessa recently shared adorable throwback snaps of Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo, while acknowledging how much they’ve grown in the past few months. “Seems like this moment from two years ago was just yesterday — and now y’all have your own baby!” she wrote. The reality star also praised them for handling parenthood so well. It wasn’t long ago that Jessa revealed she wants another bundle of joy, so their family might get even bigger soon!
