The mommy police are on duty again! Jessa Duggar shared an adorable video of her sons Spurgeon and Henry playing with their dad, Ben Seewald, but all fans could focus on was Spurgy’s diaper. The tiny tot will turn three years old in November, and according to the general public, that means he should be potty trained. Watch the video above to see the clip and to find out what people are saying!

Strangely enough, this isn’t the first time Jessa has been shamed for Spurgeon’s diaper. On July 16, she shared a pic of him riding a tractor, but it sparked controversy when one fan randomly asked why he’s still wearing diapers. The Counting On star had a classic response to the follower who called her out and TBH, her answer made a lot of sense!

“My philosophy is that if they aren’t able to do the whole thing from pulling their pants down and getting themselves on the toilet, to pulling their pants back up, and washing their hands, then they aren’t ready,” Jessa said. “Otherwise it feels like it’s actually the parent who’s potty training and doing all the work. Lol! I’ve been around kids, and I’m aware of the signs of readiness. My two-year-old is getting close, but not quite there, so we’re not rushing it.”

Luckily, several of Jessa’s followers rushed to her defense when it came to her parenting choice. “Boys are harder to potty train,” one wrote. “It’s none of your business,” another added. “First! That was rude!” a fired up fan began. “Second, I’ve watched the short video a couple of times. You don’t see a diaper so why would you ask that? Who says he has one on. Not that it matters, my son was nearly four before he was potty trained and every child is different.”

On the plus side, it looks like Jessa is getting used to dealing with the criticism. On July 4, the reality star posted a sweet video of her youngest son, Henry, and she joked that he was drinking soda. Needless to say, some people went OFF on her in the comment section. Jessa later responded, “No, he prefers coffee and energy drinks,” followed by, “And of course I’m joking. He only drinks breast milk and water.” Way to handle the nay-sayers!
