Making amends? Jersey Shore star Jenni “JWoww” Farley shared a sweet message to her former costar Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola despite “drifting apart” over the years.

“I finally decided to show you all how I apply my makeup! If you want to check it out, subscribe [and] like my new YouTube video by clicking the link in [the] bio!” the owner of Sweetheart Styles wrote via Instagram on a photo of her teasing her new video on Thursday, August 13. “You don’t need any” JWoww commented with a sparkling heart and fire emoji.

Although Sammi has yet to respond to her old roommate’s outreach, we’re sure she appreciated the kind sentiment.

The MTV alum has been at odds with her former castmates ever since she opted out of returning for their spinoff series, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, in 2018. The beauty guru, who previously dated costar Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, explained he decision in a lengthy Instagram post.

“I have chosen not to join the show this season because I am at a completely different place in my life right now focusing on my businesses and relationship,” she wrote in March 2018. “I am not the same person as I was when I was 22. At 31, I am currently extremely happy in every aspect of my life and want to avoid potentially toxic situations … I will forever be grateful to Jersey Shore and everything it has brought to me!”

While the ladies of Jersey Shore stayed in touch with Sam for some time, they began to “drift apart” shortly after she left her reality TV career behind, Jenni, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Deena Cortese exclusively told In Touch in April.

“We haven’t spoken to her in a while,” Deena admitted, adding Sammi did attend her baby shower in November 2018. “She met CJ and then we kind of lost touch.”

“We try and invite her to things,” Snooki chimed in. Even though they may not be as close as old times, “We do still love her,” JWoww added.

While her costars seem open to a reconciliation, Sammi made a statement by not inviting them to her wedding, which was sadly postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“It’s understandable,” Jenni said at the time, “I mean she came from a TV show that she clearly doesn’t want to be a part of anymore. So, there’s probably that give and take of having us part of certain … I don’t know. I wish we could talk to her about it.”
