Teen Mom 2 alum Jenelle Evans and newly blond husband David Eason confirmed they are still going strong five months after she announced they were back together following a brief separation.

The couple packed on PDA in new photos on Instagram and she gushed over her man. “You da best [heart emoji] #Hubby,” Jenelle, 28, captioned the selfies of them cozying up on Tuesday, August 18. David, 32, planted a kiss on her head in the second snap.

The former MTV star didn’t pay any mind to critics in the comment section, having previously defended her relationship in May. “I don’t care what they say, I love you no matter what,” she wrote. “Here’s to new beginnings. #HappyWifeHappyLife.”

Jenelle has been living back at the home she shares with David in North Carolina in recent months. The 16 and Pregnant alum temporarily relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, after their split in October 2019, and later decided to go back to avoid spending money on her apartment in addition to her mortgage.

While addressing fan questions about their relationship status in March, she revealed they are attempting to go about things differently this time around.

“Me and him are deciding to work things out right now. We’re taking it slowly,” she revealed during a Q&A video on her YouTube channel. Jenelle said there were a lot of incentives to move back to North Carolina with David.

“We have 11 acres of land for them to play on and Kaiser and Ensley, they really missed the animals … the chickens, the goats, everything,” she explained. “So we decided to come back here and things are going pretty smooth.”

Jenelle revealed she and David “decided to just try to remain positive no matter what,” and if an issue arises between them, she said they “try to talk it out.” At the time, the reality star also denied he was ever abusive after news broke that she dropped her restraining order against David in January.

“I’ve always had disagreements and those would turn into big arguments,” she shared. “And this is why I decided to go back home and work out my relationship. Because ultimately it’s for my family.”

Jenelle later shared more insight on why she decided to give her spouse “a second chance” in an exclusive interview with In Touch. “David was there for me through everything that happened, good or bad, and was my best friend. I just couldn’t imagine my life without him,” she explained on March 31. “I felt like I gave up on him, but he never gave up on me.”
