It’s all love. Jenelle Evans sent words of encouragement to Demi Lovato after her overdose and hospitalization on July 24. The Teen Mom 2 star was heartbroken over the reports, so she took to Twitter to send a sweet message to Demi while also reflecting on her own recovery.

“If you need help or support in time of immediate need, please seek it,” Jenelle wrote. “Hearing this news about @ddlovato breaks my heart. I hope she’s OK. You’re strong girl, don’t let the devil drag you down.” She continued her message, “Please find someone you trust, tell them the truth, ask for help. It’s OK, I promise. It’s scary, it’s embarrassing, but being sober is better than being dead.” When one follower told Jenelle she needed support, the reality star responded, “Everyone does at some point in life. It’s healthy actually.”

Jenelle previously discussed her own struggles with heroin in her memoir Read Between the Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom and she didn’t hold back the truth. “My first trip was amazing. I won’t glamorize the drug by going into the long details of why people love it so damned much,” Jenelle wrote. “Before I knew it, I was shooting up four or five times a day. I was hooked.” She continued, “The first thing I lost to the drug was my family.”

On the bright side, it looks like Demi is going to be alright. “She is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers, and support,” Demi’s rep told TMZ. Cops reportedly found the singer unconscious in her Hollywood Hills home after receiving a call at 11:37 a.m. about a possible O.D. of a 25-year-old female. Demi was supposedly given Narcan on the scene, as an emergency treatment for narcotic overdoses.

Even though it was originally reported that she had a heroin overdose, some sources claim that’s not the case. It was only a month ago that Demi released her emotional balad “Sober” where she discussed her relapse, and she’s been very open about her struggles with sobriety. The singer was set to hit the road this week for a show in Atlantic City, but it’s likely she’ll take time off to heal. Fans and several celebrities including Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga have been taking to social media to send her well-wishes, and we’re all hoping for her full recovery!
