‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Jenelle Evans Hints She’s Not Filming for Season 9 Amid Contract Dispute
Did Jenelle Evans stop filming for Teen Mom 2? It seems like the reality star hasn't budged yet amid reports that claim she has yet to sign her contract to join the rest of her Teen Mom 2 co-stars for Season 9, and she may have accidentally confirmed it while she posted a rant about her mother Barbara Evans' parenting of her son Jace Evans over the weekend.
Jenelle explained that she was disappointed that her mom would let Jace call Jenelle and her husband David Eason "pieces of sh–" during a recent episode. "If Jace lived with me he wouldn’t have ever spoke those words about ANYONE. Thought me and my mom were actually building our relationship lately and now it’s two steps back," she tweeted. "And by building our relationship I meant within these past [two] weeks that hasn’t been filmed at all and you have no idea about. Stop thinking you guys know every aspect of my life."

Because Jenelle said that she hasn't been filming for two weeks, it seems to confirm The Ashley's report that was published two weeks ago. According to sources, Jenelle was trying to get her hubby a deal with MTV again and she was reportedly refusing to sign her contract because she had been negotiating with lawyers.
"Basically, Jenelle wants David included in filming, and if that’s not possible, she wants him to be allowed to be around while she’s filming," an insider revealed. "She doesn’t care if he isn’t shown on-camera or paid. She told [the producer] that if she is filming at their home, she is not going to make David leave. She also wants him to be able to attend reunions and other filming events with her — even if he doesn’t go on camera — and for MTV to pay for his travel."
Jenelle also seemingly confirmed that David is the reason she's holding out on signing her Teen Mom 2 contract when she doubled down on her stance that her hubby did not do anything wrong when he shared hateful homophobic and transphobic tweets earlier this year. In response to his anti-LGBT comments, MTV made a swift decision to fire David from the show. David has not filmed any scenes for the remainder of Season 8, and he was not invited to film the Season 8 reunion.
Since she was getting a lot of backlash from fans for the way that she seems to blindly follow her man, Jenelle took to Twitter to defend herself for wanting to stick things out with her hubby even throughout his controversial tweet scandal.
"I will stand by my husband and his opinions until the day we die," the 26-year-old wrote on Twitter. "I’m sorry he offended anyone in the past, but he doesn’t HATE anyone. Never said that word. We all have opinions and sometimes they can be a–holes, everyone has one. Hanging on every word ever spoke."

But even though Jenelle might think she is doing something noble by standing by her man, she's also doing it at the expense of her storyline on the show. Last week, Jenelle was caught up in a heated custody battle with her ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith's mother Doris because Doris. Jenelle shares four-year-old son Kaiser with Nathan, and Doris allegedly refused to send Kaiser back to Jenelle after his weekly visit because Kaiser had bruises on him that Doris thought were caused by some type of abuse. Since Jenelle has yet to sign her contract, MTV cameras were not allowed to capture all of the drama as it went down.
"They were literally BEGGING [sic] Jenelle to film yesterday," an insider told The Ashley. "The producers really want this Kaiser stuff included in the show. They keep telling her it’s part of 'her story' and she will get a chance to show her side of what’s happening but she still said no."
