So heartbreaking. Shortly after news broke that pop star Demi Lovato was being hospitalized after she suffered an apparent heroin overdose on Tuesday, July 24, all of her famous friends took to social media to share their messages of love and support for her and her family during such a difficult time.

Demi’s good friend and fellow pop star Ariana Grande simply tweeted, “love u [sic] @ddlovato.”

Former Disney star Bella Thorne took to Instagram to share a photo of her friend, and she added a touching tribute. “My beautiful girl you are strong you always have been,” Bella wrote in the caption.

Former American Idol contestant Katie Stevens simply tweeted a red heart emoji, sending love to her friend Demi.

Country music duo Dan + Shay shared a heartfelt message after they learned the news about Demi’s hospitalization. “Heartbroken to hear what our friend @ddlovato is going through right now.  Sending all the love and positive vibes to her and her family,” they wrote, adding a broken heart emoji.

American Idol alum Adam Lambert shared words of encouragement for Demi. “Hang in there @ddlovato – sending good energy and love,” he tweeted.

Country singer Maren Morris was at a loss for word after she learned the news, but she still sent a sweet message to Demi. “I don’t even know what to say except I’m thinking of you @ddlovato,” she tweeted, adding a purple heart emoji. 

Former Disney star Alyson Stoner also shared a sweet message to Demi amid this difficult time. “only love and support, save the rest . ❤️ @ddlovato,” she tweeted.

And talk show host Ellen DeGeneres shared the most touching tribute to Demi on Twitter. “I love @DDLovato so much. It breaks my heart that she is going through this,” Ellen tweeted. “She is a light in this world, and I am sending my love to her and her family.”
