Buy used and save the difference, right? Jana Duggar apparently discovered a bunch of her family’s books in a thrift store in a Counting On clip from the early 2019 season of the show, and her reaction is the best. Why? Because not only were the titles in a thrift store, but they were heavily discounted as well. LOL! Check out the video above to see for yourself.

Jana, 29, and her bestie Laura DeMasie went to the secondhand store to find more decorations for Jana’s twin brother John David Duggar’s wedding to Abbie Grace Burnett, according to Ok! magazine. Counting On fans may recall that Jana and Laura, 33, did a lot of the set-up and decorating for the wedding and reception, and it’s honestly not the worst idea in the world to try to save some money by getting stuff on the cheap.

While Jana and her BFF were in the shop, they spotted a bunch of the books the Duggar family has written over the years. Jana was already embarrassed, but it gets worse — Laura mentioned in the clip that the books were 90 percent off. Yikes! Guess they weren’t exactly selling like hotcakes.

Laura is a really good sport about the find and joked that Jana should sign the books. Why not? She also teased Jana about looking “just like” the girl on the cover of one of the volumes. We can see why Jana keeps her around.

Jana, on the other hand, is clearly pretty mortified by the find. At one point she even said to the camera, “When you’re walking through and you see like, ten of your books sitting there? A little embarrassing … ” She does mention it being “hilarious” at another point, so hopefully she found a little bit of humor in the situation. This is probably an indication that Jana isn’t about to write a tell-all book anytime soon, huh?
