Wait a Sec, Jana Duggar Has Actually Been on Instagram Since 2017 and We. Are. Shook.
We’ve got a bone to pick with Jana Duggar. The 29-year-old made her Instagram debut on January 10, 2019, but apparently, she’s had the account for quite some time. According to her “About This Account” profile, the Counting On star actually joined social media on September 4, 2017. So why are we so upset, do you ask? Because we’ve been missing out on her aesthetically pleasing life, y’all!
Clearly, Jim Bob and Michelle‘s daughter has been taking that time to do her research. Not only did Jan (can we call her that??) get that coveted blue check mark next to her name in a matter of days, but she’s also got a certain vibe. Using one, cohesive filter goes a long way, folks.
At first, fans weren’t sure if the account was really hers. But within a few hours, Anna Duggar had officially welcomed her sister-in-law with a post of her own. “Welcome to Instagram @janamduggar,” the 30-year-old confirmed at the time.
Of course, the reality star now boasts more than 327,000 followers on the platform ~and counting~ and has been sharing everything from recipes to family hangs. Most recently, Jana shared a photo of plants with the caption, “Super excited!! Just got my very first air plants! Aren’t they the cutest little things ever? 🌱 I absolutely love them! They add a fun touch to any space. #airplants.” So cute! It sounds like she’s following in her idol Joanna Gaines‘ footsteps.
In fact, the eldest Duggar daughter has already flipped a house — with the help of her brother Jason. So while many initially thought she created an account to announce a courtship, we think Jana is just using it as her creative outlet. And who knows, maybe she’ll have her own spin-off on HGTV one day. Here’s to hoping!
