If Jill Duggar Was Pregnant Every Time Fans Speculated She Was, She’d Have 19 Kids Too
Former Counting On star Jill Duggar sparked pregnancy rumors once again earlier this week, this time for a photo she posted on social media. The 26-year-old and her (awful AF) husband, Derick Dillard, already have two children together — Israel, 2, and Samuel, 9 months — but they may soon give birth to baby No. 3!
Eagle-eyed Instagram users quickly commented on a photo of the family shared on Easter, with many claiming Jill was hiding a baby bump with her son. "Kinda hiding the tummy. Are you pregnant again?" one person wrote. Another added, "Jill pregnant?"
Yet this isn't the first time the TLC alum and her reality TV exile hubby — who was fired from the hit show — prompted speculation from fans. Back in December, the two were spotted smooching under the mistletoe, and fans were convinced they saw a bump! "Jill is totally pregnant!!!" one person wrote. "I see a bump ❤️❤️❤️??," a second chimed in.
Yet more babies could complicate their already poor parenting practices, according to some. Most recently, the two were slammed for "restraining" their sons while on a "progressive" date night out. An administrator for the anti-Duggar Facebook page, Life Is Not All Pickles and Hairspray, wrote, "Jill did another live instagram post a couple of hours ago. Derick is totally weird in it. He talks about them being on a 'progressive' date with the kids restrained in the back. He says the restraints are the progressive babysitters or something like that. What's his deal with the word progressive? He seems to be mocking it in his own special way." Some even went on to accuse Derick of drug use, however, no one was able to back up their claims with concrete evidence.
On Thanksgiving, the duo was scrutinized yet again for leaving their youngest on the floor while they ate. "Jill enjoys procreating, but once the baby is born, she's not interested in the least in the actual parenting," someone commented on the photo posted to Facebook. Another parenting pro added, "How about a carrier or swing — something besides the dirty floor? I would have never done that to either of my children."
Bizarrely enough, the couple was slammed on a separate occasion for leaving their son on the floor. In January, they received Internet backlash once again for putting Samuel on a "dirty" carpet to play. Sigh, you can't please everyone!
