Rekindled Romance! Ben Affleck and Ex Lindsay Shookus Are ‘Totally Back On’

New (read: old) couple alert! Since going their separate ways in August 2018, exes Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus have recently been spending quite a bit of time together. Question is, are the former flames actually back together? It certainly looks that way.

According to Us Weekly, the Gone Girl actor, 46, and award-winning SNL producer, 38, are giving their relationship another go. They’re “totally back on,” a source spilled to the publication, adding, “they’ve picked up right where they left off.”

The fact that Ben and Lindsay have seemingly rekindled their romance isn’t entirely surprising. After all, the former flames hardly had a malicious breakup. In fact, an insider previously revealed to In Touch that Lindsay kept in close contact with the father-of-three while he was in rehab to treat his alcohol addiction.

“[Lindsay] still reaches out to check on how he’s doing,” the insider confessed at the time. “She and Ben parted as friends, it wasn’t this nasty breakup that some have said. He needed to get his life in order, by that I mean get sober.”

The insider continued, “They had a very good, grown-up relationship, and they had a lot of fun together. They were very compatible. Lindsay is still following Ben on social media and she still likes his photos. If he called her today and said let’s meet up, she’d be there in a heartbeat.”

Hmmm, well it looks as though that long-awaited phone call must have happened because the pair was spotted on Saturday, February 23, grabbing dinner in Brentwood, California. Sounds pretty couple-like, if you ask us. Here’s hoping now that Ben is on a sober path, he and Lindsay can go the distance.
