What a performance! Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga performed “Shallow” from A Star Is Born during the 2019 Oscars and it was everything. However, fans kept a close eye on the director’s baby mama, Irina Shayk. Some people on Twitter accused the model of feeling uneasy about her boyfriend’s relationship with the singer and, after that performance, we can understand why.

Although we couldn’t see the model’s reaction to the passionate performance during the actual broadcast, the co-stars looked extremely cozy while sitting on a piano bench together.

However, someone in the audience captured the moment on video when Gaga and Bradley stepped off the stage after their powerful performance. Irina was waiting at the bottom of the steps and gave her beau a huge hug. Strangely, she seemingly snubbed the songstress by turning her back to her while sitting down.

But don’t freak out just yet. Later in the evening, “Shallow” won for Best Original Song. Irina stood and applauded for Lady Gaga’s big win, squashing rumors of any potential beef between them. The two also shared a hug later in the evening.

Being such a smoking hot couple, it’s surprising that the model and Hangover actor don’t show a lot more PDA in public. Irina has previously opened up about why she doesn’t like to flaunt her relationship. “I have a lot of friends who share a lot of their personal life on Instagram or social media, very publicly,” she explained to Glamour U.K. for her February cover interview. “I admire it and I think it’s great — but I think it’s all about personal choice.”

Bradley was snubbed for Best Director this year and even admitted that he was taken back by the news. “I went, ‘Oh wow,’ and the first thing I felt was embarrassment, actually felt embarrassed that I didn’t do my part,” he said. “I was with my friend. I was in New York City at a coffee shop and I looked down at my phone and Nicole [his publicist] had texted me and they said congratulations on these other things, but they didn’t tell me the bad news.”

Although he didn’t receive the coveted nomination, his performance with Lady Gaga was unforgettable. As for Irina, we hope you’re doing OK!
