“I don’t know if you caught my face or not, but I literally could not believe it at all. It solidified all the hard work we put in. It was well worth it,” he said via USA Today.

He also explained that he already has big plans for his mirrorball trophy.

“I’ve already figured this out. Over the fireplace. There’s going to be some light shining on it. It’s going to rotate and it’s going to play every single song, in the background, that we danced to,” Rashad said.

Here is everything else you need to know about the Dancing With the Stars winner!

1. He is currently a free agent.

The football star revealed what he has planned now that his time on the reality series is up.

“I get to continue to dance, I get to continue to train for football and I’m enjoying myself. When a team calls, I’m ready. Until then, I’m training and dancing. They know I’m going to be in shape,” he explained.

2. He is allegedly single — big news, ladies!

While he was previously rumored to be romantically involved with Angela Simmons [which is weird because she’s engaged to her baby daddy, Sutton Tennyson], Rashad is allegedly an eligible bachelor.

3. He is anxious to try his hand at acting.

“If I could write the script, I would do all those things: get picked up by a team, win the Super Bowl and one day somebody in Hollywood will give me a chance for acting,” he told People.

4. He runs a charity called The Rashad Jennings Foundation.

According to the website, the foundation “educates, inspires and encourages youth everywhere through three main initiatives: The Reading Challenge, Mentorship and Camp 180. Rashad realizes that one of the key reasons why his childhood dreams are a reality today is because, in his youth, someone cared enough to inspire him through education, provide him with mentorship for success, and encourage health and fitness as a way of life.”

5. The dance he dedicated to his handicapped father had quite an emotional impact on his family.

“Having that special number for my dad really was — regardless of whatever happens, regardless of any score — that was more than a dance to me. I got to do something special for my family that made life kind of go full circle for me,” he said via People. “What was neat from that experience, not only from my family, but the responses and comments that I got after that of people saying that not only did they majorly shed a tear for my trials, but they also shed a tear because it made them go to their own place, and look at their family and be thankful for what they have.”
