Don’t mess with Duane “Dog” Chapman! It was revealed in November 2018 that Beth Chapman’s cancer had returned, and ever since, the Dog the Bounty Hunter star has been right by her side. But when a self-proclaimed shaman reportedly showed up to his family’s house, claiming that he could help Dog’s wife, the 66-year-old immediately sent him packing.

A source told Radar that a mysterious man dropped by the house while Beth was recovering and refused to leave. “He told Dog he’d been sent as a prophet from God and he could heal Beth — but he was super creepy,” the insider said. “He kept saying Beth was beautiful!” The patriarch then reportedly conducted a body search on the man to make sure he wasn’t carrying any weapons.

According to the Sheriff’s report obtained by Radar, a “white male with a beard” pulled up in an SUV at 12:50 and “told [Dog’s] daughter he was here to help her mother, and that he was sent from God” before Dog “sent him away in the [car].”

After Beth underwent emergency throat surgery, the couple returned to Colorado on Dec. 1 so that the blonde beauty could recover at home. “She’s much more comfortable now she can breathe, but she just wanted to come back to Colorado, she loves it here,” Dog revealed exclusively to In Touch in December. “They told us they didn’t want her to leave the hospital, but she was adamant, she just wanted to be home.”

Dog has been devoted to his wife this whole time. “I am going to be right there with her,” he told In Touch. “First thing when she woke up from the [latest] surgery, she said, ‘Where’s the Dog?’ and the nurse was confused, she said, ‘Did she bring her dog with her?’ and I said, ‘Yes, ma’am.’ I’m here every moment I can be for her.”
