The Duggars may be on TV, but that doesn’t mean that they have a TV. The family is notoriously strict about what the kids in their clan have access to, and for most of them, TV is a pretty big no-no. Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard, though, may be living by a different set of rules. It seems that the father of two may have just revealed on Twitter that his family actually does have a television set at home. Or did he admit that? Honestly, we’re not sure, because the former reality star is being particularly weird and cagey about answering the question. Watch the video above to see what he said and don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel.

Fans weren’t sure what to think, and they responded in a couple of different ways on Twitter. “Well, if you do, cool! And if not, that’s good too! All it really does is run your electric bill up…lol!” wrote the original asker. “They all have TVs now; they just don’t have cable,” theorized another follower. “Too [much] inappropriate sex/violence [in] programs that [they] could stumble upon while flipping channels.” But a third fan of the family had noticed something else before.

“In [another video] you have people over to your house watching movies crowded around laptops,” they pointed out, sharing a clip from the family’s YouTube that featured two different groups of Duggar kids watching flicks on Jill and Derick’s computers. So have things changed since then? Or was there actually a third room in the house where another group of kids were watching something on a bigger screen?

It’s not clear, but we don’t think we’ll get much of a straight answer from the one-time Counting On star. He’s been a big fan of beating around the bush when it comes to questions about his life and time with TLC — although he sure was more than happy to shoot down all those rumors about his sister-in-law, Jana Duggar, and her relationship with BFF Laura DeMasie. As for the final word on that TV, well, we guess he’s staying mum.
