Where do we begin with this controversial reality star?! As if it wasn’t bad enough that David Eason posted a Twitter photo wife Jenelle Evans posing with assault rifles the day after the Parkland school shooting, he then posted anti-LGBTQ sentiments just days later, saying he “forgot” homosexual and transgender individuals are “supposed to be normal” and even calling them “dogs.” And though MTV didn’t elaborate on its decision, those homophobic and transphobic tweets are almost certainly the reasons why David was fired from Teen Mom 2. Read on for the distressing details…

On Feb. 19, David got into a fight with another Twitter user about a South Carolina bill to allow concealed carry schools. That user suggested education is how parents should protect their kids. “And just what makes you think you have a right to tell me how to be a parent?” David snapped back. “Because you think you know me? LMAO, why don’t you go tell the homo and transgender parents to start teaching their kids better morals. Oh, I forgot, that’s supposed to be normal.”

A third user then jumped into the conversation, asking, “Who are you to say what’s normal or what’s moral? Are you going to teach your children to hate gay and transgender people?”

“No,” David responded. “I’m going to teach them not to associate with them or be that way… If you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas.”

The 29-year-old wasn’t even done. Amid the resulting outcry, he said, “Homophobic? You really lost it now. I’m not scared [of] s–t, especially a homo.”

Fans demanded David be fired from Teen Mom — joining the petitioners who objected to David’s gun photo — and the very next day, MTV revealed he had indeed been axed. “David Eason’s personal comments do not reflect the views of MTV,” said the channel’s official statement. “With six weeks left of production on Teen Mom 2, effective immediately, we are ending our relationship with him.”

Teen Mom 2 co-star Kailyn Lowry, for one, was relieved to see David go — especially after he pulled out a knife at an October 2017 TM2 reunion taping. “I’m so glad MTV drew the line,” she told In Touch exclusively.

David has since deleted his Twitter account, and a lot of Teen Mom 2 fans are probably saying, “Good riddance!” We’ll keep you apprised if David resurfaces online, and be sure to join our Teen Mom Facebook group to chat about all the latest updates and juicy gossip!
