He’s coming for the haters! Tyler Baltierra slammed fans who criticized his wife, Catelynn Lowell, over a photo he posted of her on Instagram. It looks like he even turned off the comments on the first pic he shared because people were being so awful. Tyler definitely has some words for those people. On April 12, Tyler, 27, posted a photo of Cate, 27, where it appeared she had a makeover. He was clearly a fan of the look, and wrote, “I was going to write something deep & meaningful but all I can think of is ‘DAYYYUMM!’ @catelynnmtv you look smokin babe! #Wifey 🤯🔥😛😍.”

On April 13, Tyler took to Instagram again to call people out for not being nice to his wife. “After yesterday’s post, I can’t help but get emotional when writing this,” he began the caption.

He continued, “The unnecessary mean & disturbing comments made about my beautiful wife, really just breaks my heart, to be honest. It doesn’t make me angry … it literally just rips my heart to pieces.” Sounds like the replies to the post really did a number on the Teen Mom dad.

Tyler went on to write, “After 11 years of this brave woman vulnerably showing her struggles & the most painful moments she will EVER experience in life, for the world to see, she does NOT DESERVE such cruelty! Do you not understand that a year ago, she was going to END HER LIFE!?” Yikes, he really went there.

He continued, “Do you not understand that she grew up in a cycle of dysfunctional abuse, but yet STILL found the STRENGTH to fight the most primitive instinct a woman could ever feel [and] hand her FIRST BORN CHILD to another woman just to END that cycle!?” He was talking, of course, about the couple’s decision to place their first daughter, Carly, for adoption when they were young.

Tyler added, “Do you not understand that she suffers from a mental illness that requires her to fight vigorously EVERY DAY in order to keep it maintained!?” That really is nothing to downplay — it takes a lot of strength and a lot of work to take care of your mental health.

The Teen Mom OG star then really started in on the point of the post. “All I know is what I understand about her … that she is the most courageous, loving, [and] beautiful human being I have ever met.
