Friends? Courteney Cox recently showed love on Jennifer Aniston’s ex-hubby, Justin Theroux’s Instagram post. Does that mean they’re all still on good terms? On Saturday, April 13, the hunky 47-year-old took to IG to share the exciting news about his adorable rescue dog Kuma’s big modeling debut.
“BREAKING: Young Supermodel KUMA THEROUX lands HER FIRST COVER at the age of just THREE w/@noblemanmagazine!!!” he wrote. “Too young to model? The enigmatic canine FINALLY breaks her silence on: Pet adoption, no-kill shelters and her DEVASTATING, CRIPPLING FEAR of SKATEBOARDS. It’s weird to see people float sideways. It makes me want to murder the four round parts … Also the wood part, the part that makes them float sideways. PLUS: Her on-again, DEFINITELY STILL ON relationship with the man she calls ‘Papi’. He just takes care of me … he’s the one man who deals with all of my s–t … like … Literally. He picks up my s–t. And I appreciate that in a man.”
The 54-year-old actress immediately ‘liked’ the Leftovers star’s post and wrote: “KUMA!!!” with the applauding emojis. The love was really to Kuma, and not so much to Justin, so honestly — the 50-year-old actress can’t be too upset with her bestie for keeping contact with her ex. Well … we hope!
It appears that the Scream star is not the only one who thinks Kuma is a rockstar! Tan France also expressed his love for Kuma by writing: “YOU HANDSOME BUGGER!!! AND SHE WAS BORN TO GRACE A COVER.” Clearly, the little pitbull has a lot of fans! The Washington, D.C. native adopted the gorgeous girl shortly after Hurricane Harvey – it was love at first bark!
Courteney and Jennifer, who co-starred in the popular series Friends together, have been close for over 20 years. Last December, the “friendship goals” duo made headlines after news broke that the two were “growing apart,” amidst the Just Go with It actress’ divorce. An insider told Life and Style in December 2018, that it was Courteney’s continued contact with Justin that sparked the feud. “It stung Jen that Court and Justin were in touch. Despite years of her and Courteney being like sisters, Jen felt she couldn’t trust her anymore,” the source said. Although The Dumplin’ star’s rep currently denies their feud, the source continued that “Jen said the only way she’d think about rebuilding things would be if Court apologized.” Jen, just don’t look at Justin’s comment section!
In February 2018, the Los Angeles native and the Zoolander star confirmed in a surprise announcement that they were going their separate ways after being married for nearly two and a half years. Justin first broke his silence on the split from his longtime lover in a New York Times interview, in September 2018. “The good news is that was probably the most — I’m choosing my words really carefully — it was kind of the most gentle separation, in that there was no animosity. Again, neither one of us is dead, neither one of us is looking to throw hatchets at each other. It’s more like, it’s amicable. It’s boring, but, you know, we respected each other enough that it was as painless as it could be,” he confessed.
The actor most recently confirmed that his statement still stands through his heartwarming birthday post for the 50-year-old goddess. On Monday, February 11, Justin took to his Instagram to post a black and white image of Jennifer, with a caption reading: “Happy Birthday to this fierce woman. Fiercely loving. Fiercely kind … and fiercely funny. ❤️ you B.” Aww, best friends forever!
