At least he has his pooch! Jennifer Aniston‘s ex Justin Theroux was spotted walking his dog alone in New York City on Dec. 26, almost a year after their split. It looks like they may have even made a visit to a park, which was probably quite the treat for the pup. Check out the gallery below to see Justin wandering the city with his dog.

A source told In Touch magazine, on newsstands now, that “they weren’t speaking for a long time after they ended their marriage.”

The source added, “He started to feel bad about the way that they left it and missed having her as a friend, so he extended an olive branch.”

“They’re now speaking on the phone a lot,” the insider insisted. “But there’s no chance of a reunion. It’s way less stressful to just be friends anyway.” And anyway, Justin has his dog for walks. Who says he even needs other company at the moment?
