New photos of Chris Watts being strip-searched by investigators mere hours before his arrest have been released. The Colorado dad pled guilty to murdering his pregnant wife and two young daughters last month. Now, he faces three life sentences without the possibility of parole. The outlet’s national correspondent, Nik Hatziefstathiou, said, “He is the most hated father in America. So no matter where they put him it’s going to be a tough ride for him.”

He added, “They don’t think that the state prison in Colorado has the resources to protect him and other prisoners for those who might want to target him.”

Prior to his transfer, Watts was reportedly on suicide watch at Weld County Jail. “He’s not doing well at all,” a source told People in September. “The gravity of the situation has hit him like a ton of bricks. Depression is setting in, and he’s despondent.”

Shan’ann Watts, 34, and their two daughters, Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3, were killed in August and dumped where Chris used to work.

During his sentencing, Watts’ father-in-law, Frank Rzucek, slammed him. “I trusted you to take care of them, not kill them,” he said. “And they also trusted you. You disgust me.”
