She’s firing back. Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Caroline Manzo is still shocked by the comments Teresa Giudice made during her explosive interview with Andy Cohen, in which she suggested that Caroline might have ratted her and Joe Giudice out to the feds. While chatting with In Touch exclusively on Friday, November 15, Caroline said she felt that Teresa was “grasping at straws.”

“I’m not going to fight it. If that’s what she believes, you’re not going to change your mind. It’s just, it’s so beyond ridiculous that it’s not even worth a comment to it,” the entrepreneur tells In Touch at the red carpet for the BravoCon: Bravo All Stars – OG Housewives Edition event, insisting that Teresa’s comments were “bizarre.”

“She said it before,” Caroline, 58, continued. “I heard she said it on a reunion a couple years ago and I haven’t responded. I’ve never … because that’s how crazy it is. But then this time it was just so in your face and those are big words and you have to be responsible when you say things like that. That’s why I had to respond to it, because it was just irresponsible on her part.”

In case you missed it, an old video of Caroline was played on the highly anticipated Joe and Teresa: Unlocked special and it showed the Bravo star speculating that Joe, 47, would go to prison and Teresa, 47, would file for divorce down the line.

“How could she predict that?” Teresa asked while visibly upset. The reality star also speculated that Caroline might have thrown her and Joe under the bus.

“Could she have anything to do with what happened to Joe and I? Is she a rat? With her saying that? Those words would never come out of my life, regarding anybody. Maybe [Caroline called the feds],” she said.

Teresa has already served her time behind bars, as she spent nearly a year in prison for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud. She was released in 2015, while her husband, Joe, is waiting to find out the decision to his appeal in regards to his deportation case.

Joe was transported to Italy in October after being released from ICE custody, following the completion of his 41-month prison sentence for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud. Teresa revealed the time apart took a toll on their relationship.

The Let Me Tell You Something author said that if Teresa ever came to her for advice on what’s going on with her and Joe, she would show her support. “I get angry, but at the same time I just want to say, “‘Can you listen to me, please? I have no malice towards you.'”
