Helping out the rookie. Teresa Giudice is sharing some of her knowledge from her days in the prison yard with Lori Loughlin as the actress is facing potential jail time following her involvement in the college admission scandal.

“I’m sure she’ll make it through,” the 47-year-old told Entertainment Tonight in a new interview published on Thursday, November 14. “I feel women are strong. We have babies, we do it all. I’m sure whatever outcome it is, I’m sure she’ll be fine with it.”

As a mother, Teresa seemed to sympathize with the 55-year-old as she tried to make a reason for why she would allegedly bribe the University of Southern California with $500,000 in lieu of her daughter’s admission to the university. “Her daughters are older. … You know, she did it for her daughters, and, I mean, her daughters are grateful for what she did,” Teresa explained. “She was just looking out for her daughters and trying to get them into a good school. But I guess that’s it, just be open with them, and whatever the outcome is, it is. You have to deal with it and move forward.”

Back in 2014, the reality star and her husband, Joe Giudice, pleaded guilty to 41 counts of fraud. Teresa completed an 11-month prison stay in 2015, while Joe, 47, began his 41-month sentence in March 2016. Joe was later released into ICE custody in March 2019 as he is not an American-born citizen and is eligible for deportation. Joe is currently living in his native home of Italy while he awaits a final verdict on his deportation case.

As for Lori and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, the two are facing years of jail time after being indicted in March 2019 and pleading not guilty to fraud and money laundering charges in April. Earlier this month, the couple entered a not guilty plea after additional charges were added to their case.

Since Lori’s case has escalated, the actress is said to be shaking in her boots. “Lori is a complete mess, all she can say, over and over, is what a huge mistake she made,” a source told In Touch exclusively in early November. “She wishes she could go back in time and do it all over again.” At least she has Teresa as an ally during this tough time.
