Good friends always have your back and Camila Cabello sure has Taylor Swift’s! In the throes of Taylor’s vicious feud with Scooter Braun, the “Havana” singer took to Twitter to express her support for the starlet.

On Tuesday, July 2, Cabello tweeted, “I don’t know a lot about what’s going on but I will say I really believe artists should own their own life’s work.”

Although the “Señorita” singer didn’t reference Taylor directly, we can read through the lines.

The “ME” singer, 29, has publicly stated that artists should be able to own their master recordings. Taylors frustrations come as a result of Braun’s purchase of her former record company, Big Machine Label Group, which, indeed, holds the rights to her greatest hits.

In a detailed Tumblr post, the record-breaking artist wrote that she, “pleaded for a chance to own her own work,” before leaving BMLG in November of 2018 and moving to Universal Music Group.

Now that Braun, 38, purchased BMLG on Sunday, June 30, the “Red” singer was forced to open old wounds. The letter called Braun a “manipulative bully” and states that she feels that sale to one of her enemies was purposeful.

Many celebs have publicly shown their support for the infamously heartbroken starlet.  Singer Todrick Hall called Braun an “evil person” and hopes his “friend’s music will fall into the hands of a better human.”

Although many stars have sided with Taylor, some still see the side of Braun such as longtime ally’s Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato.

Regardless of the naysayers, Taylor still has a strong support system. Cabello has been a big fan of Taylor since before the two started touring together, telling Cosmopolitan that she “really looks up to her.”

Taylor is known for her public breakups, but more importantly how she seeks revenge. Watch out, Scooter, your clapback song is next!
