‘TMOG’ Star Bristol Palin Goes OFF On Instagram After Last Night’s Episode: ‘You See .002 Of Our Lives’
Haters, take a seat! Teen Mom OG star Bristol Palin took to her Instagram on Monday, Oct. 8, to set the record straight on her failed marriage to Dakota Meyer.
“Dakota is an incredible father, there is NO denying his love for our baby girls, I am extremely grateful for that,” the 27-year-old mom wrote, before seemingly addressing the trolls. “You see .002 of our lives — especially since we JUST JOINED TMOG. Like Dakota has said multiple times on IG and in interviews… our marriage was over WAY BEFORE TMOG.”
Monday’s brand new episode focused on why the duo decided to call it quits, which Bristol further elaborated on Instagram. “Dakota moved out of our home more times than I would ever like to admit. He got an attorney. He filed for divorce. Wait, did you read that? He filed for divorce. And he kept coming and going based on what he thought was best,” she explained. “I did not ask for a divorce, but I did look at my children, and knew the marriage was NOT what was best for them.”
“I never ‘gave up’ on Dakota, or on our family,” she concluded. “I know in my heart I did everything I could. My children come before ANYTHING, and I am so thankful for the challenges that have gone on because I know they will grow up in a much happier environment because of our decision to separate.”
Back in August, Dakota addressed the rumor mill himself when he opened up during a Q&A with fans. However, at the time, he made it sound like Bristol was the one who wanted to divorce.
“She wasn’t happy with me so it’s for the best,” he wrote. That said, it sounded like he has been way happier since their split, saying he’s “probably the happiest man on the face of the planet.” Ouch! He also said “hell no” when asked if he would ever marry again. Welp, there you have it!
