The shade of it all! Bethenny Frankel was not having it when a fan shaded her boyfriend’s age on a recent Instagram post. The Real Housewives of New York City star, 48, shared a sweet photo of herself with her boyfriend, Paul Bernon, on July 12, and captioned it, “I like me better when I’m with you” ✨❌❤️⭕️,” quoting the song “I Like Me Better” by Lauv. That prompted someone to respond with, “How old is he?” Several people criticized them for the reply, but Bethenny took a humorous approach instead and said, “He is 12. I go to prison next season. #watchwhathappensnext.” LOL!

Fans in the comments then praised the RHONY star, replying to her comment with statements like, “Best. Response. Ever,” and, “To me, she looks younger than him so who cares how old he is. Are women legally required to date men 20 years older than them? :).” Looks like taking the high road really is worth it, especially in the eyes of Instagram followers!

Bethenny and her new man went Instagram official on Christmas Day in 2018. She shared beautiful photos of the couple’s stay in the Dominican Republic and wrote, “Bye bye Dominican Republic. What a beautiful country of beautiful people. #healingretreat #feliznavidad.” The first shot showed both Bethenny and Paul relaxing on a patio, overlooking the ocean and seeming very comfortable with one another. An insider told Life & Style magazine back in early January that when it came to reflecting in the new year, Bethenny, “Looked back and was amazed by everything she’s gone through.
