Fans have been scrolling through the snapshots of all the new contestants on The Bachelorette ever since ABC released them on March 13. But one contestant doesn’t just have a headshot to share — he also has a mug shot. Kevin Fortenberry, one of Hannah Brown‘s would-be suitors, has had some serious trouble with the law, and In Touch has obtained his criminal record. According to court documents, the Manteno, Illinois native was charged with two Class A Misdemeanors and one Class B Misdemeanor for driving under the influence.

On August 26, 2017, the now-27-year-old was charged with a DUI, a DUI with a blood-alcohol content (BAC) of 0.08 or higher, and driving 26-34 miles per hour over the posted speed limit. According to the police report, Fortenberry’s BAC was 0.098 and he was going 66mph in a 35mph zone. “Driver acted surprised when I told him his speed,” the officer involved wrote in the report. “He began to provide a lengthy explanation as to where he was coming from; however, he had difficulty pronouncing words and continually slurred his speech.”

Though Fortenberry claimed “several times that he ‘isn’t a drinker,'” he did admit to consuming alcohol that night. “The Defendant advised he only had ‘one drink’, a ‘cu-tini.’ He also stated he ‘wasn’t a big drinker’ and had not consumed alcohol since he was 19 years of age. The Defendant was adamant that he only had ‘one drink’ and he did not like the taste,” the case report read.

According to his court docket, Fortenberry pleaded guilty to the DUI — and, in punishment, was ordered to go to counseling and attend a victim impact panel as well as pay $3,155 in fines and fees as well as $750 in restitution, totaling $3,905 in all. Additionally, he was sentenced to 100 hours of community service and 12 months probation, a sentence he will not be done serving until September 16, 2019, long after his tenure on The Bachelorette has ended.

Of course, the Illinois native isn’t the only member of Bachelor Nation to have a criminal record. On the most recent season of The Bachelor, Elyse Dehlbom competed for Colton Underwood‘s heart after committing her own DUI as well as other traffic violations. Lincoln Adim from Becca Kufrin‘s season of the show was a convicted felon who had committed a sex crime, indecent assault and battery.
