Austin Forsyth, Is That You? Fans Think They Found The ‘Counting On’ Star’s Doppelgänger
We’re seeing double! Austin Forsyth and baby Gideon are constantly #twinning, but his son isn’t the only Counting On star’s doppelgänger. A recent reddit thread pointed out that the doting dad — who is married to Joy-Anna Duggar — looks a heck of a lot like a talented football player. “That’s crazy accurate,” one fan wrote after seeing the photo, another adding, “Yesssss.” A third even said, “It’s like if Austin and Ryan Gosling had a baby.” LOL, facts.
From day one, fans have been saying that Giddy (can we make this nickname stick??) looks like his famous father, so much so, that Joy shared a photo of Austin as a baby.
“Lots of y’all have been asking for baby pics of Austin,” the reality star wrote in August. “I’d say they look alike!” Others quickly commented on the pic and agreed their resemblance is uncanny. “AUSTIN’S TWIN,” one person wrote, while a second shocked fan said, “Oh gosh, I had to read what you wrote! Totally thought both were either Austin or Gideon!!! He looks like his daddy!!!!!”
The couple confirmed to People that their son arrived on Feb. 23 at 3:39 p.m., measuring 22 inches long and weighing 10 pounds, 3 ounces. As for the stress of being first-time parents? Joy and Austin have been handling it like pros.
“It’s amazing, I can’t describe it,” Joy told the outlet at the time. “The first few days have been really good. Gideon, he likes to eat a lot. He sleeps a lot during the day and is up a lot during the night. So I’m trying to switch that around, but he’s done really good.”
