Remember when we were all obsessed with Kylie Jenner and Tyga? When we were all figuring out whether we should be weirded out by their age gap? Now that Kylie has a new relationship — and a new baby — all that hubbub, which culminated in their April 2017 breakup, seems like a million years ago. But how far removed do they feel from that chapter of their lives? Are Kylie and Tyga still friends?

In short, it really doesn’t seem so. In a February interview with Everyday Struggle he and Kylie “communicate here and there,” but he doesn’t follow his most famous ex on Instagram, nor does she follow him. Tyga does, however, follow Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and Kim Kardashian… Perhaps just to keep up with the Kardashians, so to speak. (In fact, media outlets had a field day when Tyga corrected Kim’s spelling of “Kyoto” this March.)

As he elaborated about the breakup during that same interview, Tyga said he and Kylie have no drama… and he really made it seem like he and Kylie rarely cross paths. “You just get older, you get me?” he said. “It was a relationship in front of the world, and that was it. She has her new life, I have my new life and that’s it. There’s no bad blood, no problems.”

And in an interview on The Breakfast Club in July, the father-of-one implied his and Kylie’s age difference contributed to their split. “I think the main thing was … a lot of outside influences,” he said. “She’s younger than me and she’s dealing with perception. I’m older, so I can deal with perception. But for her, growing up how she grew up, image and perception was everything.”

Even if they’re not friends, though, Tyga doesn’t begrudge Kylie for moving on with Travis Scott. “I don’t feel no type of way,” he said at the time. “Me and her had been broken up for like seven months. He’s not in the wrong.” At least that sounds friendly!
