Mo’ money, mo problems. Tyga reportedly owes the U.S. government nearly $1 million in unpaid taxes — and many believe his ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner is the reason the “Rack City” rapper is in debt to Uncle Sam. According to The Blast, Tyga has not paid taxes since 2011, which coincidentally coincides with the beginning of his relationship with the youngest Kar-Jen sibling.

The State of California Franchise Tax Board recently filed documents against Tyga, with back taxes totaling up to $890,183.57 over the last seven years. At that time, Tyga and Kylie’s relationship was not official but the two met in 2011 at older sister Kendall Jenner‘s Sweet 16 birthday party. Fast forward, and in 2014 he ended his relationship with baby mama Blac Chyna to seemingly pursue the underage lip kit beauty.

In 2015, they finally came out as a couple when Kylie turned the big 1-8 and were together for two years until they called it quits in 2017. Along the way, Tyga splurged on presents for his then-girlfriend, including a $240,000 Ferrari Spider, a Mercedes-Benz Maybach worth an estimated $189,000, and one very big promise ring.

And while he had no problem spoiling his lady, Tyga was sued by his landlord in 2014 for failing to pay rent to the tune of $70,000 (he ended up getting hit with a $186,000 judgement). He was also sued by famed jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills for allegedly stealing $91,000 worth of diamond and gold pieces, which was deemed a misunderstanding by his rep. Right…

TMZ also reported that Tyga attempted to buy a $10 million mansion in Calabasas close to the famous family in 2015, but failed to finalize the deal after entering escrow three times. At the time, Kylie denied reports she loaned her hip-hop BF $2 million dollars, calling it “lies, lies, lies.” Kylie has since moved on with seemingly debt-free rapper Travis Scott.

Whatever the case, Tyga’s money woes prove it is definitely hard keeping up with the Kardashians.
