‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Andrew Seemingly Responds to Rumors About Amber’s Future at MTV

It seems like Andrew thinks his ex-girlfriend, Amber — who is also the mother of his son, James — should lose her job at MTV because of the alleged domestic violence incidents that occurred during their relationship.

“America: bloody your ‘soulmate,’ win a job,” read a text post on Andrew’s Instagram story.

“Attack your family, win a job,” a second message read.

“Shove a baby, win a job,” the third message read.

“Abusing your family is a choice, not a mistake,” the last message read.

Andrew’s comments seem to be a reaction to The Ashley‘s report claiming that Amber was not fired from MTV and is filming scenes for the upcoming season of Teen Mom OG.

“Amber has 100 percent filmed for the new season,” a production source told The Ashley. “She is not being fired by MTV.

“[The producers] plan to film with Amber through her court trial [for the domestic battery charges.] Whatever happens, there will obviously dictate if she remains on the show or not,” the insider continued.

“They want to show her redemption story. Also, it’s not just the producers who make the call whether or not to fire someone. It has to come from the network,” the source said.

The producers reportedly held a conference call after audio recordings were leaked earlier this month, which seemingly depicted a domestic violence incident between Amber and Andrew that allegedly took place on Christmas Eve 2018.

In the audio, a woman believed to be Amber and a man believed to be Andrew got into an argument after the woman expressed that she felt trapped in their relationship. Their fight escalated and at one point, the woman could seemingly be heard hitting the man, and he asked her to stop, telling her that he’s holding James. “You fat ass! You ugly fat f–k! You don’t deserve me!” the woman yelled.

Even though producers reportedly agreed to continue to tell Amber’s story until she received a verdict in her domestic violence case, some members of the crew are not thrilled about working with her.

“Some of us are uncomfortable working with her after what we heard [on the audio clips],” the source told The Ashley.

And it seems like Andrew doesn’t like that Amber is still continuing to film for the show, either.
