She's got babies on the brain! It might be fine that Amy Duggar has reportedly been ex-communicated by her extended Duggar family, because she's ready to start a family of her own. The former 19 Kids and Counting star recently revealed that she's ready to try for baby No. 1 with her husband Dillon King — but she's definitely not following in her uncle Jim Bob and and her aunt Michelle Duggar's footsteps by having 19 kids of her own.

"Kids are definitely on the horizon. That is something that we really want very soon," the 31-year-old revealed to Radar Online, and she explained the reason why she and Dillon decided to wait after nearly four years of marriage before having their first child together. "We’ve took time to travel and get to know each other and just wanted a very strong foundation before kids."

Amy and Dillion tied the knot in 2015, and the couple actually hit a rough patch early on in their marriage and they actually went on Marriage Boot Camp in 2017 to work through their issues, one of which was communication.

"Communication is one of those things where it just takes time to learn each other. We thought we could just do it on our own. Dillon didn’t know where I was coming from," Amy told Radar. Now, the couple's relationship is stronger than ever so they feel it's time to take the next step together, and the one thing they're definitely communicating on is the fact that they don't want 19 kids.

"No! Probably not. I think one or two would be really good for Dillon and I," she said, and said that even though the couple would be happy with having either sex, she's hoping for a boy. "I have a list of baby names on my phone we talk about a lot. They’re super cute!"
