More Amanda, please! Child star Amanda Bynes has been out of the spotlight for the better part of five years, but she’s recently resurfaced on Twitter looking happy and healthy! The former All That star took to Twitter on Saturday, Feb. 10 share a photo taken during a girls’ night out.

“Dinner with friends at Girasol,” the 31-year-old captioned the photo, adding a kiss mark emoji. It was the first time Amanda has posted from her account since April 2017, and her fans flooded her mentions with compliments and well wishes.

“You look beautiful!” one fan wrote, while another commented, “We love you, Amanda, everyone wishes the best for you.” Another fan wrote a sweet message to the What a Girl Wants actress, “Like so many of your fans, I was so sad when the world you were in got to be too much for you because I seriously thought you were one of the MOST talented people out there. I hope you are happy now and please remember how appreciated you were.”

Amanda rose to fame as a child actress on Nickelodeon’s All That and then her spin-off The Amanda Show. She went on to earn starring roles in various movies in the mid to early ’00s, and her last role was in 2010’s Easy A and shortly after, she announced her early retirement from acting.

But a series of unfortunate events between 2012 and 2014 — including multiple run-ins with the law, substance abuse, and a very public meltdown — tarnished her image. She made it a point to stay out of the spotlight and she enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in LA. Last December, Us Weekly reported that she is currently planning to make a comeback to acting.

“Amanda is looking forward to ringing in the new year with her close friends this year,” her lawyer revealed. “In 2018, she looks forward to completing fashion school and dipping her toe back into acting. She has had several offers but is waiting for the right one to come along for a comeback.”
