Adrienne Bailon’s Comment on Khloé Kardashian’s Pic of True Shows They’re Cool After Split From Rob
Rob Kardashian‘s dating history is … complicated. However, things aren’t salty between his family and every ex. During the early days of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the sock designer dated Adrienne Bailon. Although their relationship ended on rocky terms, it seems that the singer is still cool with the Kar-Jenner sisters. It’s not surprising considering Kim, Kourtney and the Good American mogul actually took the former Cheetah Girl out for coffee behind their brother’s back during her run on the show.
The Rob & Chyna star and songstress’ relationship was an early plotline in the reality show. They dated from September 2007 until 2009 but broke up because the reality star cheated — something the now-31-year-old confirmed during an episode. Two years and one butt tattoo later, the pair was history.
The 35-year-old revealed what she thought went wrong in the relationship during an episode of The Real. “I think I got cheated on because I was dating someone four years younger as well,” she explained. “And, I think he never had like a serious girlfriend before and I think I was a lot more mature and I think, um, he was curious.”
However, she admitted it was probably for the best. “We were both really young and he was younger than me and wanted some experience,” the Puerto Rican beauty added. “I got it. He was just not for me. Him cheating on me allowed [me] in a way to recognize that we weren’t for each other.”
Since their split, the gorgeous brunette tied the knot with her now-husband, Israel Houghton, in 2016. As for Rob, it’s still … messy.
