90 Day Fiance’s Deavan Clegg Confirms She ‘Moved Back’ to America for a ‘Horrible Reason’
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Deavan Clegg told fans she can’t wait for the world to find out the “horrible reason” she “moved back” to America in a candid Twitter post, revealing the “truth will come out eventually.”
“This isn’t a game. You guys did me in, you win … Thanks for leaking who Drascilla’s [biological father] is,” the mom of two, 23, wrote in a now-deleted message captured by 90DF blogger John Yates. “I’m done, you guys win. Thanks a lot there is a reason I have a life-long protective order … Shutting down comments. You all really believe everything you see on TV. You guys don’t know the truth or half of it. Have fun with your dumb show,” the season 2 alum continued.
Deavan addressed her relocation to the U.S. and said there is more to the story. “What happened … the scars I’m trying to repair, the damage that was done,” she wrote, before confirming fans will find out more details in the future.
Back in April, she discussed Drascilla’s dad in a YouTube video and their alleged past “abusive relationship,” revealing she gained full custody of their child post-split. However, she didn’t reveal his identity at the time.
More recently, Deavan’s mother, Elicia Clegg, confirmed Deavan and husband Jihoon Lee, 29, were quarantining separately because of the coronavirus outbreak. In the comments of her July 20 photo of Drascilla, she revealed Deavan was “stuck” in America with her two kids while Jihoon remained in South Korea.
As of late, the model and her husband have been dealing with the hardships associated with their reality TV fame. Their franchise costars David Toborowsky and Kenneth Niedermeier rallied in support of Jihoon after he posted a hateful direct message he received amid their family drama on the show.
“You’re such a bad father,” the message read on August 18. “Kill yourself, you pathetic idiot f–k.”
Prior to that, Deavan spoke out about the show’s editing and blamed it for the drama involving Jihoon and Drascilla in a since-deleted Instagram Live. She said the online criticism from viewers has become incredibly out of hand and confirmed she and Jihoon have worked out all of their past issues.
“I know that editing can make things look more dramatized and I know I signed up for this and I agreed to editing that may be a little more dramatized,” she explained. “But I didn’t agree to editing that puts my family’s life in danger. And these past two episodes have put my family’s life in danger.”
“The amount I made on TLC for both seasons, I made in one month doing my own s—t,” the star concluded. “Money is not worth it when my family is being threatened and put in danger and we’re not even making enough money for protection or getting offered protection.”
