Ashley didn’t go into detail about what she was going through, but she did gush over beau Jay Smith for helping take care of her. “I promise I will always be there for you through all the ups and downs, no matter what happens,” he wrote in response via Instagram. “Love you babe girl get well soon #lupus #getwellsoon#staystrong.” Just last month, Ashley revealed that she suffers with lupus, a chronic autoimmune disorder that can leave her feeling very weak. The reality star decided to clear the air after fans noticed something was a bit off about her during some scenes.

“A lot of people are asking why I look so sad and like I was crying for days in last night’s episode,” Ashley responded to the speculation. “This photo was taken hours before that filming. I had a reaction to a medication for lupus and my eyes and my neck were [completely] broke out,” the 31-year-old shared. “They gave me steroids to help it, but it wasn’t completely gone. I was battling this the entire rest of the season so I just wanted to address it.” We’re wishing her all the best!
