Not worth it! Eric and Leida Rosenbrook have very quickly become one of the more popular couples on Season 6 of TLC’s hit reality TV series 90 Day Fiancé — but for all the wrong reasons. Eric and Leida are considered villains on the show — Leida especially — and because of that, they get a lot of hate online from fans. Leida claimed that the Internet trolls have taken things a little too far with their death threats and threatening Leida’s young son Alessandro, and she revealed that she and Eric would be quitting the show because of the negative attention. Watch the video above to see how she told fans and don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel.

In Touch can confirm that local police officers responded to Leida and Eric’s home in Baraboo, WI last month because of all of the threats they were receiving online. “An officer was dispatched because Leida received threatening messages through social media,” Chief of Police Mark Schauf confirmed to In Touch. “The officer gave them advice and counseled them on what they could do to ensure their safety.”

While the couple did not choose to pursue any charges at the time of the police filing, they did ask for extra security on their home. They asked for police presence because of their profile on 90 Day Fiancé,” Chief Schauf explained.

But the online threats continued after this week’s episode, which featured a particularly heartbreaking scene where Leida, 29, kicked Eric’s 19-year-old daughter Tasha out of the apartment that Tasha had been sharing with Eric. Many fans were outraged at the way Leida treated her stepdaughter-to-be, so they took to social media to voice their frustrations. In an Instagram Live video clip shared on a 90 Day Fiancé fan page, Leida tearfully revealed that she and Eric will not return for another season of the franchise, and she blamed all of the backlash that she gets from fans on TLC and Sharp for giving her a bad edit.

“We put our lives in danger. We put our lives on the front line. This is not fair. This is not worth it at all. We are never going to do this again, I’m telling you guys, we are never going to do this again. No,” Leida said, crying. “I swear to God, once the contract is done, we will reveal everything that they never showed on the show. How could people [wish me to] die? This is not fair. I’m a human too. I never signed up for this, we didn’t know they’re going to portray us that bad.”
